Academia del Tango Argentino

For whomever is intrigued by the mystique of the Tango, its intense, seductive image, l'Academia del Tango Argentino was set up to introduce, entice everyone to the sensuality of the Argentinean dance. Established in the Milton Keynes, UK, in February 2000 by Marion Ouazana, it was carried on by Guillaume de Keating-Hart and Karin Huettl when Marion decided to further the pursuite and promotion of the Tango heritage by founding the "Conservatoire Tango" in Marseille, France.

Focussing on the original style, to which Tango owes its legend, the teaching first reassures. Tango brings confidence and trust, and this is achieved when understanding that basics are simple. As dancers progress, they learn to feel the music, the rhythm, as playing with the music generates the feeling. Once this confidence is achieved, the lessons focus on developing to the creativity.

Tango is a dance where you "write your own dance with a few letters, syllables, words", not a dance you play back off by heart. Each individual personality is reflected and comes out of anyone who dances it, the originality distiguishes.
